As a result of a malpractice crisis that has been so problematic, members of the medical community have joined together to establish Centurion Medical Liability Protective, Risk Retention Group (CMLP).

During these difficult times in the medical profession, despite the changes in statutes resulting from recent tort reform, many physicians either can not purchase malpractice insurance for any price, or are subjected to unaffordable medical malpractice premiums, which make the profession less attractive and satisfying. This has forced many to move to other counties and states where the litigious climate is less aggressive.

The physician owners of CMLP have chosen to join together to create their own professional liability company to serve and support the needs of the physician. We stand ready to litigate all incoming claims with a legal defense team that is held on retainer for each and every physician insured with Centurion.

August 2006: CMLP expands into Florida bringing premium relief to Florida physicians.

March 2007: CMLP expands into Arizona bringing premium relief to Arizona physicians.
